Summary:The paper introduces the effect of Eridiarom on the digestive tract segment of diarrhoeic rabbit after alternations in diet. Eridiarom lowers the intestinal amplitude and peristaltic contraction in accordance with its concentration. Concentrations of 6-8 % suppress motility of duodenum, jejunum and ileum and concentrations of 2-4 % that of the colon and rectum. No tonic contraction nor spasm were noticed as a proof of toxic action. The experiments were peformed "in vitro" on segments of intestine with three replications.
