Summary:Results of investigation of occurrence of grain losses during direct harvesting desiccated and non-desiccated rape were presented. The Reglone desiccant was used in the tests. The grain losses in dependence on grain ripeness, harvesting time of the day and air temperature and humidity were described by multiply regression equations. It has been found that the harvester header caused from 76 to 83 percent of the total grain losses. This losses occurred mainly in the acting area of finger feeder and inner divider. Air temperature and humidity both connected with time of the day of harvesting also significantly influence upon the rape grain losses
