Summary:The pape1963r presents results on the size of accumulation of elements in particular organs of cereal plants and calculated values for their accumulation in kg d. wt. ha exp(-1). Potassium and nitrogen appear to be accumulated by cereals in largest quantities, averaging approx. 100 kg of K and 88 kg of N per ha exp(-1), out of which a portion of over 70% is eliminated from the ecosystem with the crop. Accumulation of phosphorus, sulphur, magnesium and sodium is not higher than 10 kg per ha exp
