Summary:Central breeding stations are the only source of getting breeding bulls in our country. Feeding rations used there, however, result in high daily body weight increase of those bulls. Therefore a research work has been undertaken to analyse the impact of the given method of feeding on the values of body conformation and on some chosen fertility efficiency indexes. Reatures of breeding bulls of black-white and red-white bulls have been compared. The conclusion is that feeding rations for such bulls should be reconsidered and changed, as they result in too high increase of body weight and poor reproductive efficiency.(Krysa, M.; Jaczewski, S.; Nowicki, B.)
