Summary:The field and laboratory experiments were conducted on the influence of a diversified crop production system on the development and yielding of different cultivars of winter barley in 2003-06. Two factors were studied: two technologies of crop production (a-standard, b-intensive) and seven cultivars of winter barley. In the standard system fertilization was applied 60 kg N/ha(50+10), in the intensive - 100 kg N/ha(60+40), twice fungicides, foliar fertilizers and growth regulator. It was shown that a diversified crop production system had an important influence on the grain yield and total protein content in grains as well as on yield components and morphological features of the plants
