Fungi isolated from seeds of yellow lupine, especially Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, in dependence of period of seeds storage

Isolations of fungi from seeds yellow lupine cultivars were conducted three times: 1) from seeds used to the sowing in 2000, 2) from seeds just after harvest in 2000, 3) from seeds six month after harvest. In addition, intensity of anthracnose of lupine on experimental plots was observed. Penicilliu...

Summary:Isolations of fungi from seeds yellow lupine cultivars were conducted three times: 1) from seeds used to the sowing in 2000, 2) from seeds just after harvest in 2000, 3) from seeds six month after harvest. In addition, intensity of anthracnose of lupine on experimental plots was observed. Penicillium spp., Alternaria alternata, Botrytis cinerea and Colletotrichum gloeosporioides predominated among isolating fungi. Dependence between occurrence of C. gloeosporioides on seeds used to sowing, intensity of anthracnose on plots and occurrence of C. gloeosporioides on seeds harvested from plots was not observed. Fewer potential pathogens of lupine were isolated from fully developed seeds then from screenings
