The research objectives had cognitive and utilitarian character. The first one led to show the role of human factor, significant for changes of rural structures in conditions of free-market economy. The utilitarian aim was to indicate the search direction for optimal model of agricultural education, that keeps up with the development of rural areas and agriculture or even stimulates that development in the context of changing needs and expectations. The research shows that agriculture schools have been in poor financial conditions for a few years. They try to solve it in different ways.
