Summary:The coefficient of shape and the coefficient of seed susceptibility to rolling have been formulated. The values of these coefficients were estimated based on the interrelation degree with the friction angle. The respective analysis was performed on an example of post-thrashing mixture of seeds, in which rapeseed constituted a principal species. It has been found that the shape coefficient expressed as a ratio of mean thickness and width to length of seed can be applied as simplified measure. A better measure of the seed shape comprising all the stereometric traits of seed appeared to be the coefficient of seed susceptibility to rolling.
