The result indicated that the maximum jassid population appeared in the plot where okra was sown alone (5.70/leaf) followed by okra planted with marigold (5.40/leaf), with Sunflower (5.2/leaf) and with Maize (4.4/leaf). However, the jassid population in okra (alone) was (3.91/leaf) followed by sunflower (3.1/ leaf), Marigold (0.40/leaf) and Maize (0.30/leaf) during 2009.The results revealed that the population of jassid varied significantly (p greater than 0.05) on different dates on okra alone and okra planted with trap crops.
