Summary:Results of the analysis revealed that azolla meal contains only 10% of crude protein. Meanwhile, the feeding trials indicated that azolla can be used up to 10% in starter rations and 20% in grower rations without any effect on the performance of growing pigs. In general, these 2 levels of azolla in the diet showed no adverse effect on the digestibility of the different nutrients except on crude fat. A reduction in the digestibility crude fat was observed as the level of azolla meal in the diet was increased
