Se estudio la eficiencia economica de la proteccion forestal en los bosques del Distrito Federal utilizando el criterio de suma minima de costos mas danos durante 1983-90. Al programa contra incendios de 1985 correspondio el nivel de costo eficiencia en proteccion y educacion de danos.
