Development of Biologically Active Compounds from Edible Plant Sources-XVII. Chemical Constituents from the Aerial Parts of Artemisia princeps PAMPANINI (Sajuarissuk)
The aerial parts of Artemisia princeps PAMPANINI were extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH and the concentrated extract was partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH and H₂O, successively. From the EtOAc fraction, five compounds were isolated through the repeated silica gel and ODS column chromatographies. They wer...

Summary: | The aerial parts of Artemisia princeps PAMPANINI were extracted with 80% aqueous MeOH and the concentrated extract was partitioned with EtOAc, n-BuOH and H₂O, successively. From the EtOAc fraction, five compounds were isolated through the repeated silica gel and ODS column chromatographies. They were determined as friedelin (1), β-amyrin (2), β-amyrin acetate (3), camphanediol (4) and hispidulin (5) on the basis of spectral data, respectively. |
