Summary:This study was carried out to investigate the effect of mulching material and planting method on bulb growth in microtuber of calla (Zantedeschia spp.), and then to establish the bulb production system for cut flower using the microtuber. Bulb growth such as bulb weight, circumference, diameter, and height was better in black polyethylene (PE) film mulching than in none and transparent PE film mulching in microtuber of three Zantedeschia spp. cultivars. The microtuber planted in April 25 than in May or June 25 showed the better bulb growth.
