Summary:A brown leaf spot of Polygonatum odoratum var. pluriflorum was observed in Okayama Prefecture in 1989. The fungus constantly isolated from symptomatic leaves was identified as Guignardia sp. on the basis of morphological characteristics and pathogenicity.
