Evolution of the macro- and meso-elements during a vegetative cycle of grain pea cultivated on two soils types [Pisum sativum L. - Sicily]

Summary:The work shows the changes of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and magnesium during the vegetative cycle of grain pea. The test was carried out on two pedological types (clayey and clayey-sandy) in the Sicilian semi-arid environment, using the Belinda variety. The field was prepared with a winter seeding and an experimental randomized block design with three sections. Seven plant samples were drawn and tested during the phenological phases to assess the studied element levels. This study has shown that the evolution of the elements varies in relation to phenological phase and analyzed part of the plant [Il lavoro mette in luce i cambiamenti di azoto, fosforo, potassio calcio e magnesio nel corso del ciclo vegetativo del pisello da granella.
