The trial was carried out on 25 BBBxITF young bulls (15 males and 10 females); right side was anathomically dissected into joints and tissues. Females showed higher incidence of hind quarter (+2.82%) and first joint (+0.93%). The meat percentage was higher in males (+3.27%) and the value was similar to Limousine crossbreeds, higher than Charolais and lower than Piemontese ones. At the contrary the BBBxITF were more fat than Piemontese x ITF. The difference between sexes was low. The use of BBB bull for crossbreeding appeared profitable according to dissection data [La prova e' stata condotta su 25 vitelloni (15 maschi e 10 femmine) BBBxITF; la mezzena destra e' stata dissezionata in tagli e tessuti. Le femmine presentavano un'incidenza piu' elevata del quarto posteriore (+2.82%) e dei tagli di prima qualita' (+0.93%). La percentuale di carne era piu' alta nei maschi (+3.27%) e il valore era simile a quello degli incroci Limousine, piu' elevato di quello dei Charolais e piu' basso di quello dei Piemontesi. Al contrario, i BBBxITF erano piu' grassi rispetto all'incrocio Piemontese ITF. La differenza fra i sessi risultava bassa.
