Study on qualitative and quantitative characteristics in bread wheat lines and cultivars of preliminary wheat yield Trials

In order to obtain desirable lines from cultivars which have good characters such as resistance to diseases and environmental incompatibilities, this experiment was conducted with 69 lines and cultivars that derived from internal crossing programs. This experiment also was done without repetition and by using of cure drawing, all cultivars were compared with check C.75-5 and Gaspard. The cultivars with the more. yields and desirable cultivation characters than check, were selected for the Future studying in Ardabil trials. During growth period, recording of the important cultivation characters such as reaction to cold different , head development date, physiological maturity, plant height, loading percentage and resistance to kernels dropping was carried out .Results showed that seven lines had desired cultivation characters and the more yield than checks. These lines selected for testing inperliminary Regional wheat yield trials in cold area.
