Summary: | For determination of canola (Talayeh Cultivar) evapotranspiration under standard condition in Esfahan; field study was conducted in Kabotar-Abad Agricultural Experiment Station during 00-02 growing seasons. The seed was planted in early Oct. and harvested in mid-June and the growing seasion was 8 month.. The soil water balanced was used to determine plant evapotranspirtion (ETc) by measuring irrigation water (I), drainage water (D), precipitation (P), using the following formula ETc=P+I-D. During the growing seasion the plant was regularly irrigated before depletion of readly available water, and irrigiation depth was agjacted to drain about 10 percent of irrigation water. The average ETc was 579 mm. The minimum and maximum ETc were 584 and 574 mm and the palnt was irrigted 10 times, and refference crop evapotranspiration for the the growing seasion was 786 using Penman method. The crop coefficient for initial growth stage from planting to early March, development stage from Early-March to early-April, mid-seasion stage from early-April to early-May and late-seasion stage, from early May to harvest, and total growing seasion, were 0.38, 0.38 to 1.12, and 0.3, and 0.55 respectively. The seed yields were 3000 and 2900 kg/ha inside lysimeter and in the fetch area, respectively. Key word: Canola, Standard Evapotranpiration, Crop coefficient, lysimeter. |
