Summary:Vast areas of Iran are subjected to soil and water salinity .In this circumstances, the crop yields and fanner's income will reduce in salt affected regions. One of the practical ways of reducing the saline stress, is planting the salt tolerant barley cultivars .In order to select best salt tolerant barley lines in on-farm conditions, three lines were evaluated during I cropping season of 2004-5. The experiment was conducted in Mahyar and Andelan regions , in a Randomized Complete Block Design with" four replications. Each line planted in 25 rows with 5 ill long .. The plants were irrigated with 11 ds/m water quality in Mahyar region and irrigated with 10 ds/m water quality in Andelan region. Analysis of variance showed that, line No.4 (LB.Iran/una 8271 II Gloria "S"/come "S"_llMJ3Ikavir) and line No.5(73¬M4-30)J were the best lines in Andelan area. Mean grain yield were 3343.38 and 3601.77 Kg/hr .respectively, In Mahyar region, line No.4 was the best and has 1921.37 Kg/hr grain yield.
