Summary:In order to studying the effect of Potassium on increasing efficiency of absorption nitrogen on cotton, an experiment was done as split plot design with three levels of potassium (0, 50 and 100 kg/ha) in main plot and 4 levels of nitrogen (45,90, 135 and 180kg/ha) in subplot at three replications for two years. The following are concluted: 1. The main effect of Potassium had bean significant by one percent, and there were the levels of K100 and K50 in the first group, K50 and KO in the second group. 2. The sub plot effect (nitrogen) had been significant by one percent and, and there were the levels of nitrogen N135and N90 in the first group and N45, N180 in the second group. 3. The best treatment was earned from K50 N90 with 4291 kg/ha yield that it was increased yield to KO N45, KO N90 and K100 N90 treatments by 30, 10.3 and 7.2 percent respectively.
