Study on Barley lines and cultivars in yield trials in dryland condition

This study includes five barley (Hodeum volgare.L)yield trials : 1_preliminary yield trial 2_Al test 3-A2 test 4-B, test 5-B; test First experiment layout using square latis design (6x6) with tow and others RCBD with three replications. Analysis of variance and L.S.D test carried out for comparing means. During growing season. earliness. winterkilling and plant height were recorded. There were no selected lines in preliminary yield trial because oflow yields. All lines of._\\| test were without significant differences by Sahand check. exception line no. 12 that yielded significantly lower than check. ln A2 test 7 lines had not significant difference by Sahand check. Yesevi-93 was the best and produce 2.167 T/ha grain yield. . Ten lines ofB, test were as well as Sahand and others yielded lower than Sahand significantly. The best line of this trial was no.3 and yielded 1.870 Tfha grain. All B; test lines had no significant difference by Sahand. exception Tami-92 that was lower than check significantly.
