Summary:New sunflower hybrids were studied for their responses to second cropping system in mild cold regions of Kermanshah province. For this, a split plot design based on RCBD experiment with three replications for two years was used. Planting dates including 20th Khordad, 5th tir and 20th tir and hybrids including Azargol, Farokh and Shf-81-90 was located in main plots and sub plots, respectively. Two years results showed that some important agronomic traits such as seed yield, days to maturity and 1000 seed weight were significantly different in planting dates. Seed yield reduced with delay in planting date so that first and third planting dates had the highest and lowest seed yield with 4199 and 3118 kg/ha, respectively. Hybrids were different for most traits. New hybrid Farokh had the highest seed yield with 3940 kg/ha followed by SHF-81-90 and Azargol with 3788 and 3459 kg/ha, respectively. Farokh with 95 days to maturity was suitable to use in second cropping system. As a whole result, use of new sunflower early maturity hybrids such as Farokh in second cropping system in mild cold regions of Kermanshah province is possible Key Words: Sunflower, Planting date, Hybrid, Seed Yield
