Summary:In order to achieve high yielding and adapted bread wheat varieties, this experiment was carried out in four (4) research stations around the country. one hundred ninety one ( 191 ) lines and varieties of bread wheat with 6 checks (Tajan,Shirodi,Arta ,Moghan3 and Darya varieties) were used in systematic design without any replication. Plot sizes were 6 mx1.2 m=(7.2m2) including 6 rows with 6-meter length and row spacing was 20 cm. During the cropping cycle besides, field management practices the following traits were recorded: Days to heading (DTH), Plant Height (PLH), 1000 kernel weight (TKW) lodging%, reaction to diseases under natural condition and "mist irrigation system", Shattering and Days to maturity (DTM). After harvesting, collected data were analyzed based on rank method. 56 superior lines were selected based on grain yield, favorite morphological characters and reaction to diseases, for warm humid zone (Gorgan, Gonbad, Moghan and Sari) .The selected lines will be evaluated for more adaptation and sustainability in advanced yield trials (ARWYT).
