Summary: | ticks are the most important external parasits which cause heavey economic losses to livestock investments. In iran livestock tick contamination is present. Based on some evidences and farm experinces the hypothesis of hard tick resistance in Zanjan province were considerd and inorder of tick adaptabiliy toregional ecology, sensivity evaluation of hard ticks in zanjan province to currently used poisons were nesecery. Therefore inorder to determine such a resistant hard ticks exist or not and for using of results to manage the programmes of control and fighting sgainst livestock ticks an experiment implemented during one year. In the current study some villages of regions of tarom Olya Zanjan and Mahneshan were observed monthly since May 95 to jan 96. the most contaminated areas to hard ticks seemed to be the region of tarom Olya in zanjan chayaparea in Mahneshan and Ghaghazan in abhar respectively in order of magnitude of observed tick sampling were achieved during the nine month and totaly 708 sample of female and male ticks were collected. based on obtained informations of this study the pick of cantamination were in monthes of june and Nov. Ticks of Rhipicephalus Bursa with 323 sample (%45) Hyalloma Anatolicum Anatolicum with 211 sample (%30) Dermacantor Marginatus with 85 sample (%12) Hyalloma Asiaticum Asiaticum with 48 sample (%7) and Hemaphisalys Sulcata with 41 sample (%6) are some results of studing samples in this experince. 14 to to 21 days old larvea which obtained from eggs of engorged female ticks were examined with: LPT ( Larval Packet test) in veterinary faculty of Tehran university by Dr. Rahbari. there wasnt any resistant case in these sensivity tests. 86 cases of hemi-engorged ticks examined with different concentration of Ectomin Blotic and Negovon poisons in shaw method. the results showed that there was nt any level of resistance in examined ticks. |
