Summary: | In order to study uptake condition of macro and micro elements by rice plant at different water stress,a field experiment was conducted in paddy field of Mazandaran province on a silty loam texture with transplanting of Tarom variety. The experiment was laid out in randomized complete block design with 3 replicatiopns and 7 treatments (water regime):T1=Continuous flooding with 5 cm standing water. T2=Alternative irrigation with 3 cm standing water. T4= Alternative irrigation at transplanting up to reproductive stage and continuous flooding up to maturity with 3 cm standing water. T5= Soil saturation at seedling establishment up to reproductive stage and alternative irrigation up to maturity with 3 cm standing water. T6=Soil saturation at seedling establishment up to reproductive stage and alternvative irrigation up to maturity with 5 cm standing water. T7=Soil saturation at seedling establishment up to maturity. After final pudding the plots was made 20m2(4 × 5 m (and fertilizer were applied at recommended amounts for each plot. Hand weeding was done twice,15 days and 30 days after transplanting. Samples of plants were taken from seedling at transplanting ,shoot at 30 days after transplanting and straw and grain at harveest in every treatment and analyzed N,P,K,S,Mg,Ca,Zn,Fe,Mn,Cu and B.The results have shown that: Uptake of elements was different in treatments (water regime). Alternative irrigation or soil saturation at transplanting up to maturity or soil saturation at transplanting up to reproductive increased uptake micro elements in comparison with continuos flooding and maximum uptake of Zn,Fe ,Mn, Cu, and B were in T2 ,T7,T7,T6,and T5 treatments. |
