Summary:Adetailed postmortem examination of two and a half year-old female Dutch breed rabbit carcass was carried out. The rabbit had a historyofanorexia,depression and prolonged estrus over a period of about 3 months. Grossly, a yellowish pink and soft growth was found intherightovary.The uterus showed multi nodular yellowish white, soft and firm growth. Cytological observations of ovarian and uterine growthwere most suggestive of a neoplasm of epithelial cell origin. Histologically, the ovarian and uterine growths were diagnosed as luteomaand endometrial adenocarcinoma respectively.
