Summary:The aim of this experiment was to find out the optimal feeding frequency of seabass (Lates calcarifer, Bloch) under control tanks. The experiment was conducted at the National Seafarming Development Centre, Lampung for 4 weeks. Plastic buckets with an effective volume of 100 litres were used in this experiment. Two treatments of feeding frequencies had been tried i.e. treatment A (2 times/day) and treatment B (4 times/day) with 2 replicates. The food given is frozen Artemia salina 12-15 days old supplied from mass production. The result of this experiment showed that the treatment B (4 times/day) had the highest survival rate (89.25 percent) with the growth rate (0.93 g/ fish) and food conversion ratio 6.68
