Summary:A study of lead (Pb) accumulation in feather and bone was done on 60 five days old broilers. The experiment was carried out in Balai Penelitian Veteriner Bogor. The design used in this experiment is Completely Randomized Factorial Design, with two factors and five replications for each treatment. The first factor is the dose of lead acetate with 4 levels: 0, 500, 1000, and 1500 ppm given in drinking water. The second factor is the duration of time given with 3 levels: 15, 30, and 45 days. This study indicated that the lead accumulation in the feather and bone increased with the increase of the dose rate and the longer duration time given. The accumulation of lead in bone is higher than is in the feather. The increase of lead accumulation in the feather for 15, 30, and 45 days were respectively 5-7, 14-28, and 18-39 times, higher than the control. Otherwise the increase of lead accumulation in the bone were respectively 40-58, 32-42, and 22-36 times, higher than the control. The relationship between lead accumulation in the feather (Y) and in the bone (X) was described in the Equation of regression line of Y=-5,35 + 0,59 X with r =0,78 and R2=0,60
