Summary:Field experiment was conducted at Cipanas Horticultural Station at 1100 m above sea level. Split Plot design was used with Corm size as main plot and K fertilizer as sub plot. Corm sizes were 40-60 g corm, 20-40 g sliced corm and 10-20 g sliced corm. K fertilizer were 25, 50 and 75 kg K2O/ha. The result showed that the sliced corm produced flowers, spike length and vase life as good as the unsliced corm. But slicing the corm as plant material decreased the corm yield. Application of K fertilizer increased the corm yield of plant originated from sliced corm material.
