Summary:The application of an enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for serological diagnosis and monitoring of antibody titres following vaccination against infectious bronchitis virus was discussed. The results suggest that the ELISA test which was standardized at the Research Institute for Veterinary Science can be used reliably to monitor antibody titre following vaccination as well as assisting in the rapid serological diagnosis for infectious bronchitis infections in unvaccinated flocks of chickens.
