Summary:Predictions of climatic changes on the long run are formulated in international research centers. The problem of diminishing the emission of gases causing the greenhouse effect increased to be important during the last ten years, after Rio and Kioto, when relevant consequences have been checked intensely. Strategies of adaptation have been elaborated in recent years only. In Hungary VAHAHA (an acronim composed of words: change-effect-response) is a project for the development of a strategy of adaptation, which involves some methodical problems too.
