Summary:The purpose of this study is to supply General Tables of Mean Growth in volume for the black pine in Greece. As research material 292 black pine trees were used which have been cut from ground plots representative of all parts in Greece where the black pine is developed in natural forest compartments. In every sampling tree a detail stem analysis has been done. The equation which seems to be fitted better to the data is the following: Zv=a+b.d(exp 2).h.Zd or Zv=0,007476+0,000001504d(exp 2).h.Zd, Where: Zv=the mean annual growth in m3, d=the outside bark breast high diameter in centimeters, h=the total tree height in metters, Zd=the mean annual increament in centimeters
