Summary:In this work, for the first time in Spain, the positive isolation of Phytophthora ramorum, on Viburnum tinus and Camellia japonica, is described. The pathogen has also been identificated on Rhododendron sp. The identification of the pathogen has been done by its morphological characteristics and by molecular techniques.
