Summary:A new unit for pressure regulation is presented in this article. No additional atmospheric air is needed to be sucked in for vacuum control. Only the air consumed by the milking machine passes through the vacuum pump, i.e. a considerably lesser amount than with the classical control valve. The use of special control unit with a pressure reducing valve enables low consumption of electric energy. The new equipment was experimentally tested and optimum parameters were calculated.
