Summary:In the cause of vegetative reproduction weakly vigorous substrates for cherry and sour cherry (Gisela 5 and four genotypes Prunus fruticosa, Pall.), in the in vitro condition, isolation and cultivation of shoot were carried out. Influence of genotype and nutritional substrate on micropropagation of weakly vigorous substrates for cherry and sour cherry were examined. Selection appropriate nutritional substrate and optimal condition for cultivation of shoot, made possible successful micropropagation of Gisela 5 and two genotype of steppe cherry (SV2 and SV11) till regeneration in the complete plant. Creating of leafy rosette weakly vigorous substrates was successful on all checked vigorous substrates, and multiplication of sprouts, as rooting was depending on choosing of vigorous substrates and genotype. Micropropagation of SV1 and SV12 from shoot till complete plant was not achieved, because of the weak rooting of genotypes. Results of this study is showing that micropropagation of Gisela 5 and steppe cherry, using the method of shoot tip culture till complete plant is possible, but depending on genotypes and vigorous substrates. Results gained in this experiment can use for mass production of vegetative substrates for cherry and sour cherry.
