Summary:In this review article, we aim to study predator-prey interactions and their historical development from time to time. A general overview of the predator-prey model, its evolution, and the physical meanings of this model has been discussed here. A brief discussion on the classification of predators and process of predation it its effect on the environment is presented in this review article.
