SNP genotyping methods for crops in post-genomic era

It is essential to use some feasible SNP genotyping approaches in assessing the quality of those data. For crops, it is important to identify and validate SNP markers that are needed for study in many fields, such as genetic variation, population structure analysis, association study, crop plants breeding, etc., This mini review focused on some commonly SNP genotyping methods, and gave a brief introduction to their detection principle and operation flow, then discussed the analysis of large amounts of SNP data for crops in post-genomic era.
