Summary:In course of the research there were studied the feasibility of long-term storage of fruit and berries in cold rooms with controlled atmosphere. As a result of research the recommendations on optimization of procuring and distributing centers in Mogilev region of the Republic of Belarus based on the minimization of the total costs were given. The most important articles of variable costs were identified and their economic interpretation was given. The economic effect of the implementation of the proposed activities and the payback period of the project were calculated. It was determined the optimal amount of procurement and distribution centers fruits and berries in the Mogilev region and calculated measures of economic performance of this project. In accordance with the criterion of minimum total costs, the proposed procurement and distribution network will be represented by three centers with a total capacity 12 OOO tones. The total investment required for the implementation of this project will be 20 199 300 000 Belarusian rubles. Profitability level of functioning procurement and distribution system will be equal to 25% at an annual income of $ 8,520 million rubles. Payback period is 2 years and 5 months at estimated capital efficiency 0.42.
