Summary:Pear plantings, representing quite high horticultural value, are cultivated throughout the Republic of Belarus. Pests of horticultural plants, such as elaters, darkling beetles and owl-moths, are wide-spread all over the country. Pear psyllid (Psylla pyri L.) and pear sucker (Psylla pyrisyga Forst.) appear the pests of little size and are difficult to be located. But the damage, caused by these pests becomes a dangerous problem for the producers of horticultural crops. In the article the results of the researches of phenology of development of pear psyllid (Psylla pyri L.) and pear sucker (Psylla pyrisyga Forst.) are presented. Phenological calendars of the development of pear psyllid and pear sucker are shown. The periods of development of each generation of these pests are analyzed. The influence of average daily temperatures and relative air humidity on pear psillid embryo and post- embryo development is defined.
