Summary:Optimal terms of sowing of winter crops appear the terms, providing the crop yield of the cultivar at maximal level and the number of springs at the level of 2-4. Deviation of sowing terms leads to crop yield decline and disease contamination of plants. The analysis of changing heat supply of autumn vegetation of winter cereal crops in 1996–2011 in comparison with heat supply according to the climatic norm in 1940–1970 is presented. Agro-climatic zones of the republic of Belarus are analyzed. The scheme of graphical determination of the optimal terms of sowing of winter wheat in 1996-2011 is presented. Changes of the decade air temperatures, correlated to climatic norm of 1940-1970 are analyzed. Optimal terms of sowing of winter cereal crops for the period of 1996-2011 are evaluated. It is shown that within the analyzed period, as a result of climate warming calendar terms of the beginning of sowing winter cereals moved by 4–10 days, and the end of sowing – by 1–5 days.
