Summary:Application of new antiseptic agents Apol First (applied before milking) and Apol+Apol Activator (applied after milking) produced by Bochemie (the Czech Republik) on the basis of glycolic acid and quaternary ammonium compounds for preventive maintenance of cow mastitis was studied in the conditions of the Republic of Belarus. In course of study there were used 3 groups with 50 heads in each. The research results showed that cow udder treatment with Apol First preparation made it possible to lower the amount of microbes in 6,4 times; udder treatment with Apol+Apol Activator – in 11,7 times. Application of both preparations provided the lowering of cow sickness rate with mastitios on from 20,6% up to 6,3%. After studied preparations applications there were stated no allergic reactions, sequela. There were stated no inhibitory substances in cow milk
