Summary:Results of research on study of efficiency of soil acidity and potassium moveable soil content optimization on decrease of a collective dose of irradiation on the population of Belarus are submitted. On the basis of the cost -benefit analysis it is shown, that expenses for averted collective dose at liming on cereals are 21-170 thousand USD, at potassium moveable soil content optimization more than 80 thousand USD per 1 man-costs of entering depending on density of 90Sr and 137Cs soil contamination of rural districts. From the economic point of view dose efficiency at application agrochemical countermeasures can be expected on soils with density 90Sr contamination is more than 11 kBq m-2, 137Cs is more than 555 kBq m-2
