Summary:The substantiation of the necessity of modernization of agricultural machinery and engineering in favour of new national energy saving tractor Belarus produced in the Republic of Belarus was analysed. Seed sowing machinery and engineering should have adjustable seeding depth, control systems and regulation techniques meeting the requirement of sowing standards while the machinery and equipment for mineral fertilizer application should be provided with the appropriate facilities for the estimation of quantity of applied fertilizers and machinery working capacity. The high - priority problem of the development of the technological complex of machinery for the simultaneous and proportional (up to 10%) application of two types of mineral fertilizers that could increase the payback of fertilizers in 1,2 - 1,4 or even 3 - 3,5 times was analysed. Special attention was given to soil ploughing and chisel plowing up to the depth of 28 - 30 cm. The necessity of creation of the coordinated cooperative system for the development of special markets of agricultural wide - coverage machinery, machine systems of standard feeding ration, air purification in animal husbandry complexes was grounded
