Summary: | Analysis of the current problems of animal husbandry and animal production in the Republic of Belarus was presented. Research results showed that output volume rate of animal products depended on the following factors: 20-30% - genetic potential, 60-70% - feeding level and 10% - maintenance conditions. The necessity of cattle change-over to the balanced and containing all nutritive elements fodder rations in all seasons of the year was analyzed. Use of high quality mixed fodders proved to be the main task of animal feeding improvement. Change-over to the adequate rations required the intensification of plant growing branch, provision of increased yielding capacity of agricultural crops with simultaneous reduction of cultivated areas and increasing of fodder crops sowings. The creation of the necessary microclimate especially on the pig-breeding complexes and poultry farms proved to be the second acute problem. Development of the appropriate techniques and technologies providing air saturation and air purification from ammonia and pathogenic microflora could make it possible to reduce the energy consumption for keeping the appropriate microclimate. Ways of protection of fencing constructions of cattle stock buildings from the pathogenic microflora were analyzed. Realization of the technology of plating of the fencing constructions could provide the reduction of inefficient culling of young animals on 50% that would increase the profitability on 10-12% |
