Summary:In 2002-2003 the research on propagation of new strawberry cultivars "Bogema", "Karnaval", "Mamochka", "Vechnaya Vesna", "Govorovskaya", "Snezhana", Hybrid 700 and Hybrid 8 was carried out. Apical meristems were put on nutritious media Murashige-Scoog (MS) with the additions of 1) 6-benzil-aminopurin (6-BAP) 1 mg/l, indole-butryric acid (IBA) 0,1 mg/l and gibberellic acid (GA) 0,1 mg/l for the regeneration at the temperature 25-27 deg C and 16-hours illumination. After that the regenerants were transferred on 1/2 MS with 0,01 mg/l of indole-butryric acid (IBA). The comparison of initial cultivars and regenerants by morphological signs showed that the regenerants stability or variability were closely connected with the strawberry genotype and nutritious medium composition
