Summary:The quality of the feed and appropriate feeding are one of the most frequent risks in poultry growth. Commonly, this is caused by insufficiency, sometimes even lack of one or more components from the combined feed, as well as by low level biological activity of the feed. This results in economic losses because of a lower growth rate, poor feed conversion, increased death and other negative consequences. The monitoring and the analysis of feed quality and sufficiency, the feed form, the proper feeding and the feed conversion could be transformed into measures increasing the economic effectiveness of the growth process. MHACCP by prediction on the relevant parameters using the software could be introduced in real-time prevention of the risk factors. The analysis costs–product–effectiveness is a better approach than the direct analysis of the costs-effectiveness because the common practice is to achieve a lower cost per product unit by extra investment.
