Summary:Biodiversity of beneficial organisms (entomopathogenic viruses and fungi, predators and parasitoids) on phytophagous insect pests and mites in the biocoenosis of oil-bearing rose (Rosa damascena Mill.) in Bulgaria has been established. The species composition includes 171 species, belonging to 121 genera, 39 families and 11 orders (Caudovirales, Entomophthorales, Hypocreales, Acari, Araneae, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Neuroptera, Thysanoptera and Hymenoptera). One nucleopolyhedrosis virus (order Caudovirales, family Baculoviridae) and 2 species of entomopathogenic fungi from orders Entomophthorales (family Entomophthoraceae) and Hypocreales (family Clavicipitaceae) have been determined. Beneficial arthropods belong to order Acari - predatory mites (5 species, 5 genera, 4 families), predators from orders Araneae (11 species, 9 genera, 4 families), Coleoptera (38 species, 28 genera, 8 families), Diptera (11 species, 7 genera, 2 families), Hemiptera (8 species, 6 genera, 5 families), Neuroptera (7 species, 5 genera, 2 families) and Thysanoptera (1 species, 1 genus, 1 family). The found endoparasitoids from order Diptera, family Tachinidae, belong to 11 species from 10 genera. The most numerous are the parasitoids from order Hymenoptera - 76 species, belonging to 47 genera and 9 families - Aphelinidae, Braconidae, Chalcididae, Encyrtidae, Eulophidae, Ichneumonidae, Pteromalidae, Scelionidae and Torymidae. a list has been prepared of key beneficial organisms (entomopathogens, predators and parasitoids) on phytophagous insect pests and mites in the biocoenosis of oil-bearing rose (Rosa damascena Mill.) in Bulgaria, including 45 species which belong to 44 genera, 29 families and 10 orders (Caudovirales, Entomophthorales, Hypocreales, Acari, Araneae, Coleoptera, Diptera, Hemiptera, Neuroptera and Hymenoptera).
