Summary:Two physiological traits were carried out with 4 fistulated wethers with the aim of determining the effect of addition of the preparation Ropadiar on digestion and fermentation prosses in rumen.During the trials the wethers received equal rations composed of meadow -0.700 kg, concentrate mixture - 1 kg.To the experimental ration were added 500 mg of the Ropadiar containing ethereal oil derived from the herb marjoram (Organum vulgaris). The folloing more important conclusions were made on the basis of these traits: the addition of 500 mg of the Ropadiar did not influence the ration digestion, pH values, ammonium concentration and quantity of the produced bacterial protein in wethers' rumen.Significantly higher values (P0.05) of infusion protein were determined in wethers that received 500 mg of the Ropadiar in their rations.
