Arthritis in a racing pigeon (Columbia livia), associated to Acinetobacter lowffii

This paper describes the isolation of a pure culture of potentially pathogenic Acinetobacter lwoffii from a swollen elbow-joint of a female pigeon. The virulence of this bacteria is also discussed.
