Acquisition in University Libraries: Problems in Developing Countries

The acquisitions policy of the University of Ibadan Library is outlined. The problems of acquisitions resulting from the fact that 90 percent of the materials acquired are purchased from suppliers in developed countries are discussed. (Author/JAB)
